Acne.. we adjectives repugnance it :(?
I am taking doxycycline as a oral med for my acne. Can you crush it, chew it? I can't swallow pills well, so I need some help within figuring out how to take it. Thanks so much!

It depends if it a delayed release pill or not. If it is a delayed release pill you shouldn't do it but if it isn't a delayed release pill you should be fine to do it that approach.
If you have delayed release pill just ask your doc to write you a script for the regular ones.

the best thing to do is to ask your pharmacist. you might be able to cut the pills contained by half, and then take them individually to get it easier to swallow.

A lot of times what do with pills I cant swallow is crush it into a powder and put it in yogurt. That way you don't really appetite the medicine and its not hard at all!
I don't have an answer for pills but my mom (and I) rob an egg white, beat it until white and bubbles appear and apply to face. Keep it on untill the way dry-wash past its sell-by date with warm water. It draws out the oil. Source(s): personal use
I think you can, I'm pretty sure it doesn't enjoy a time released coating on it. I used to take it, too. I've switched to Accutane. My skin is perfect now! Soo much better than Doxy. But anyway, I meditate you could crush it (probably ask your doctor first) but be really careful because it can damage your esophagus and such. I once took it and then go to bed and it was kind of stuck in my throat and I get chemical burn all down my throat and in my esophagus. It hurt to much, I couldn't eat for close to 2 weeks. So just be careful that if you do put it in food or something you win it all the way down and take lots of marine with it.
