does anyone know if flaxseed (linaza) is actually beneficial to losing weight?

The formula for weight lose is simple-- burn more calories than you consume. Eat the the same as you hold in the past but exercise more. Exercise the same but get through less. BEST WAY-- Eat less/Exercise More.
You should probably add a bit more info about yourself: age, sexual characteristics, etc. I have a lot of experience with flax, but not for weight-loss, specifically. What I conspicuously CAN tell you is to use the ground flax meal, not flax oil, etc. It's great for adjectives kinds of things, and certainly has lots of bran, etc.
For aging men -- and, especially, aging prostate glands -- it has amazing benefits. But that's another story.

I can't find any studies showing counterbalance loss benefits.
Disregard the colon cleansing advice - it doesn't do anything and is dangerous.
