Should i stop smoking weed ?

My boyfriend said he's gonna dump me if i don't stop smoking, but u was a smoker when we met 15 years ago. plus i only smoke at the weekend
Answers:
No. Unless you want to.
You don't have to stop just because he wants you to. The lone time you should stop is when you one to. By doing that the want to quit will be there and when you finally do the need to smoke weed will be gone. Weed is an amazing thing put here on dust. Some respect it when others do not. Looking at the big picture its not worst than cigarettes or alcohol. The only Reason weed isn't legal is because the government cant duty it. Also they would never make it legal because it doesn't bring in money. People will travel to a store to buy alcohol and cigs but they will never go to a store to but weed. Since it is way easy to grow ect. Also weed should be decriminalized though because less people die by it than booze and smokes. No ome smoking weed will go out and slaughter someone the most you wanna do is bake a frozen pizza. Other than that the most damage from smoking weed is to your lungs from the tobacco but at least it doesn't own the awful chemicals in it. Your boyfriend is probably lost into all those above the influence commercials. They over exaggerate. Also you only smoke on weekends in a minute how bad is that? If it makes him feel better one and only smoke one day a week. Also if you have to quit then he should own to quit a bad habit too. And if he drinks or smokes make him quit that too, its one and only fair.
What kind of boyfriend is that!?

Well, apparently published research does suggest changes in neural network.
Relatively insignificant ones.

"I work contained by rehab and have seen the young lives that are ruined by it, although in attendance is no documented evidence as some 'pot heads' will surely tell you, but EVERY cocaine and heroin user I've met (100s of them) started off on cannabis."
So? Every alcoholic started at soda pop.
This, is more of a society problem than a cannabis problem.
Don't you think that a mindset required to filch first cocaine/heroin dose will be similar to one required to smoke weed in a society there it similarlynted as something similary "evil"?

Hmmm?

screw him if hes gonna dump u over weed, if he really cared roughly speaking u it wouldnt matter if u smoked weed, if he met u when u were smoking weed whats the difference? he should have like feelings for u if u smoked or didnt smoke, dump him b4 he dumps u and get a bf that loves u for who u are
Well it is illegal. It is bad for your lungs (lung cancer, emphysema, etc. just resembling like cigarettes).

I'd just talk to him just about it. Ask him why he wants you to quit. Is it the legality? Maybe he doesn't like you when you're big. People act differently when high. He might find you insufferable to be around while you're stoned. He may just similar to you better sober is all. I'm just speculating, though. You'd just own to ask him and base your decision on that.
Just parley to your BF and ask him why it bothers him so much now if he use to smoke!
You will feel so much better after you haven't smoked for a few weeks. It is probably going to be rugged but you can do it! Trust me -- the results are way worth it.

You will feel more like yourself and your brain will be smaller quantity foggy. I know that might seem like it's a load of crap, but try giving it up for a few weeks and see if you make out the difference.
no
he should let you make your own choices, nobody like an overly conrtolling bf or gf
try this out. quit weed and start drinking heavily in no time he will prolly be begging you to start smoking again. esp. if your like me a markedly happy high person vs. a fundamentally dumb mad drunk. thats why i stick to pot. Source(s): personal exp.

yes of course you should stop, but i guess ur ur own personage and can make decisions for urself. well hopefully u can take home a good choice and kno the consequences
keep up the smoking Source(s): 11 years
Cannabis damages the synapses in the brain. You decide!
Is your boyfriend or weed more important you decide, but if my girlfriend ever ask me to stop i wouldn't result in smokin trees its like a habit to me. Source(s): my black ***
If hes gonna dump you over weed hes an idiot.
I am not going to get involved in the argument roughly speaking whether weed is good for your or not....that is debatable. Its not great for the lungs, but is smaller quantity harmful to the brain than alcohol....it is supposed to be helpful for people who suffer from autoimmune conditions and stomach torment...for some people its medicine, but other people use it surrounded by a bad way or too much too often....

That isnt really the issue here though. The issue here is your freedom and autonomy, and your relationship near this person you care about. Your boyfriend sounds resembling he is being controlling and a hypocrite, but also like he cares going on for you.

I personally would not surrender my autonomy or let my boyfriend boss me around, but I would talk to him going on for it and try to work it out. The relationship doesnt have to end. He probably doesnt really want to leave you he is newly trying to look out for you in his own misguided way. Smoke if you want to smoke, but communicate your needs and emotional state to your boyfriend. You can care about him without obey his every command.
You have a tough decision to engineer. Good luck with that.
He says that because he cares about you. Weed can verbs your life. It starts with "I'm just smoke on the weekend" and later it ends up destroying your life. Stop smoking weed now or it'll be harder to turn back subsequently. And anyway, it's not cool.
It would probably be the best thing that you will ever do within your life!
I would say no, just keep smoking weed. Especially if you hold been a smoker for 15 years. I would advise to stay away from alchohol though as it is simply poison. If it is your health he is worried more or less, pick up a vaporizor as it will cut down your risks of lung damage. What would give him the right to try to control you like that anyhow? Is he that much better than you? My push for is to find something he really likes and tell him you will make a treaty, he quits that and you'll quit weed.
This will be a bluff of coarse, just make sure it is one he cannot call. This will shut him up. If he still leaves you, gimme a christen !!

J/K
go 3 or 4 months without smoking weed, trust me it's so worth it
