Alternative ideas to treat ear infections?
My son get tubes in his ears a year ago due to consistant ear infections that lasted in the order of a year. Now he has started to get ear infections again. Is in that any help out there for this that can relieve other/or added to antibiotics?
Answer: Poor little guy. This happened to my son and even after tubes were placed surrounded by his ears. I tried everything and nothing really worked. I took him back to the doc and he have to have surgery again to drain out the fluid. Never had another ear infection again even after the tubes fell out. Some ancestors are just prone to getting them.
I wish him in good health..
yes! garlic oil from Mothers Market. put 2 drops in respectively ear and a cotton ball. sleep over night next to it in and i guarantee success! Grapefruit kernel extract pills help with ear infections. You own to use them consistently, I don't know if this will work for your son's age or not. Also, if you live outside of southern California (for some reason they are hard to find within so cal) go to your local health food store and ask for ear candles. These are long candles that you put surrounded by the ear and light the other end alight. This draws out the extra wax, it sounds weird but it works. Years ago I knew parents who used this on adjectives of their children (all ages) and it worked very well..
Homeopathic (same one my grandmother used on my mom) remedy is to heat olive oil with chopped garlic. Strain grease to remove garlic pieces & test to make sure it is not too hot - drizzle into ear strait and put cotton to keep oil from seep out. A warm rice pack feels apposite also. For example, if my right ear is hurting, I lay with my left ear on a pillow and put the pack resting on my right ear to keep the oil reheat for awhile. The pack is made out of flannel and full of regular rice. I warm it in the microwave for a couple minutes but not too hot as it will burn the ear. Not sure how ancient your son is - may be too young for cotton and rice packs. If so...hold on to in mind for later, it really does work. Good luck!.
Perhaps giving him a small dose of about 200mg of odorless garlic. I don't know his age, size or weight but you could dance and ask a herbalist in your area for the right dosage. Garlic is wonderful for conflict and warding off infections. There is also goldenseal that is incredibly good for this as well.
After a session beside antibiotics, you need to put back within the good bacteria rear into his system as antibiotics kill all microbes, good and bad. You can do this by using live cultured yogurt or probiotics. But please check near your doctor or pharmacist before giving him any herbal meds.
