Anybody own any fitting at home remedies for restless sleep PLEASE HELP?
I have tried using melatonin and it seems like it make me dream alot ,i am a very light sleeper wake up alot at darkness and i am always tired as a result,i just want a sound sleep anybody use valerian root ?thank you surrounded by advance

One of the best remedies for better sleep is L-tryptophan. Take two in the morning and two before bed. It may take a couple days for it to build up within your system but you will sleep hard and wake up feeling close to you actually slept.You should also monitor what time you wake up. If it's usually around the same time, you may hold some issues. This concept is called the horary cycle ( or circadian rhythm ). You may want to look it up but the gist is this. If you're waking up between 1-3am that signifies liver disfunction, 3-5am signifies lung disfunction, and 5-7am signifies large intestine problems. I found that just using a much lower dose of the melatonin prevented the crazy dreams. Also if your a women try using the progesterone cream. A side effect of progesterone is it makes you sleep legitimate good, but it wears off. The sleep is such a comfortable sleep though.

Don't drink coffee, tea or cola after 4:00PM!Also not something close to juice or ice cream later than 6:00PM - too much sugar!
Other than that do 3 sets of pushups and crunch situps delayed at night before you go to bed.
Then drink a chalice of hot milk, then a small glass of red wine.
Then spank your monkey (you know what that means right?)
You will sleep approaching a baby if you do all these things.
I've used valerian root. It worked, but it smells really bad. I kept it out within the garage. Melatonin made me have bad dreams. Massage helps upgrade sleep quality. Best Wishes.

hops are supposed to be good for sleep. You can get capsule.I am taking 5-HTP to sleep. It's also supposed to give you dreams, but hasn't affected me that way.

My dear Friend,Eating too much or too little can disrupt sleep. A slight snack at bed time can promote sleep but too much food can motivation digestive discomfort that leads to wakefulness.
Alcohol is a double edged sword. Small amounts can help you drip asleep but it can also dehydrate you, leaving you tired the next day.
Caffeine can disturb sleep.. If you are sensitive to caffeine, avoid it contained by the afternoon and evening.
Forget the fat. If you consume a high fat buffet in the evening or eat foods that you have found wreak you indigestion and heartburn, your sleep can be disturbed and restless.
Do not eat late at night. Lying on beside a full stomach puts you at a gravitational disadvantage, encouraging acids and gastric juices to flow up into the esophagus, causing uncomfortable heartburn that will brand name sleep more challenging.
Drink fluids too close to bedtime can cause problems like going to the hip bath room during the night often.
