I am in an afternoon slump. I made the mistake of not resting when my 9 month old son went down for a siesta. Now he is awake and energetic and I am exhausted. Is there anything I could do (besides drink coffee) that could boost my energy?

You could drink some juice. Since your already making sure you get your iron than that's not something you could get, but stuff next to protein and fiber are things you could eat.
You could also try maybe even go for a wander or a light exercise.
