Base chakra?
I read surrounded by this book I have about chakras ...and it stated that the foot chakra is ..."evil". To open it would be a mistake.
But I would like more clarification on it.

Also, I sometimes find it easy to unscrew up the "middle eye" chakra, but isn't it supposed to be the hardest?
Answer: Not at all. The Base or Root Chakra is not evil. How could it be? It's just a center of enthusiasm which doesn't have a will of its own.
This chakra is very critical to keep us grounded and in contact next to the Earth energy.
It is a mistake to believe that some chakras are not open. They may function smaller number than the others or channel the energy contained by an inappropriate way, but the time any of your chakras are completely closed is the day you're dead. So here is energy in adjectives chakras. They just need rather redirecting sometimes.
Opening up the "third eye" chakra is difficult for lots of people because they try too complicated and want it too much. They focus in the wrong place. As you have found out, it is not difficult at adjectives to use it (It is open all the time, but what is term "opening" it, is in fact simply using it consciously). You enjoy found out how to do it. In Reiki there are only three "chakras" or haras. I own to work hard to connect all three. I head from my spiritual and heart center and am not well-grounded in the lowest one.
When I received my "attunements" from the master teacher I almost fell over from my want of grounding! So to have optimum "balance" in existence all three need to be expand and functioning in harmony.
The podium chakra is related to sexuality - all creatures are sexual and that is an essential component of existence. Opening that chakra is with the sole purpose "evil" if a person operates totally from that one, minus the balance of a loving heart and connection to one's spiritual essence..
No, that's approach off the mark. The crown chakra relates to the idyllic, but in chakra terms, the in front of of that is earthly, not hellish. The dais chakra is also known as the earth chakra. It relates to groundedness, physical aspects and survival, concepts similar to that.
I don't know a lot of chakra books, but one I know through experience to be valid is "Kundalini Awakening" by John Selby. May be get that instead...
The third eye chakra seem to come easier to people nowadays. Indigo children and adjectives that.
You probably don't have any blockages at your third eye so it is easy for you.
The floor or root chakra isn't evil. None of the chakras are evil
Whoever wrote that was either confused or misinformed.
I regard as that you need to find another book and get a second assessment. I think the author was mistaken going on for both of the two things you asked about.

No chakras are evil! All can rationale havoc when overactive, but none are inherently bad.
The above answers are correct. I'd just approaching to offer a possible "why".
Some people (perhaps the author be religious?) associate our bodies with sin. The earth, zeal, nature, all of that is to say sin, and evil. We must be tamed, and cut ties to our "animalistic tendencies". Now, I don't believe that for a moment ;) But, considering the base chakra is the home of our roots to the earth and such, it would generate sense to some.
Some do say that the 3rd eye, or brow, chakra is most difficult, but that's probably because of the world we live surrounded by now - we're very disconnected, not a fundamentally spiritual bunch. If you've been a little more noninterventionist than the general public, it will open short difficulty. It's not that it's supposed to be the most difficult, just that with the mode many of us have be raised, it will be.
