Can Niacin treat someone thats psychotic?

Answer:    It depends. If the person has pellagra (Vitamin B3/Niacin deficiency) where on earth one of the symptoms is psychosis, the answer is yes. If the patient is psychotic but doesn't have pellagra, the answer is no.

Pellagra is exceptional in the US but it still does occur from time to time. I hold came across several cases in NYC, largely among homeless and extreme poverty where cheap and poor quality food is singular available to them..
Niacin is good for everybody. It won't relieve somebody's psychosis. Sorry. Not psychosis. However, Niacin may be a good vitamin for someone who's depressed, as it's a B vitamin, and depressed population often have Vitamin B deficiency..
niacin is like another name for vitamin B 3 i ruminate.
