Can ranitidine affect pregnancy?

"FDA pregnancy category B. This medication is not expected to be harmful to an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Ranitidine pass into breast milk. Do not take ranitidine without recounting your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby."
Although one thing I needed to add is that any acid blocker approaching that is something you have to scrutinize to make sure you at least hold a minimal amount of stomach acid. Too many ethnic group taking acid blockers actually pause up having too little acid over time, and that make certain foods difficult or impossible to digest. If you don't have satisfactory stomach acid, you might not be getting the nutrition from certain proteins, Calcium-rich foods, and other foods that pocket more stomach acid to digest. In fact, too plentiful people that take acerbic blockers aren't able to digest simple tablets (including multivitamins, Tylenol, etc).
