Can you recommend a book about Reiki?
I would resembling to buy one for a friend who is very interested in the subject.
Answer: One of the best books that my Reiki master introduced to me is call "Hands Of Light". She said that you can purchase it online using E-bay or Craig's list or something like that.
However, the broad-spectrum rule of thumb for Reiki is that you should seek out a teacher and be "attuned" through the different "levels" of Reiki within order to gain any true value from it.
I individually went out and bought several books about the subject previously I ever talked to my teacher. I could enjoy saved quite a bit of money if i would've talk with her first. However, now that I've be attuned to Reiki, I am thankful for the information the books provide on a each day basis.

2. The Everything Reiki Book
3. William Lee Rand's books on Reiki (there are quite a few)
You can normally find books on Reiki at Border's, Barnes and Noble or even at the library..
One of my favorite books is Essential Reiki by Diane Stein. There are many good books in the region of Reiki, you can look in your local book store or on amazon.com Essential Reiki by Diane Stein is a good one if you want systematic and fundamental information and if you are comfortable with a feminist perspective.

you can't learn Reiki from a book.
You have need of to adopt a Guru for this science. The best book to give someone interested in Reiki is " Hand to Hand" by John Harvey Gray and Lourdes Gray,PhD. They dispense clear and easy to understand explanations and instructions. John be taught by Takata directly and he and Lourdes are still teaching classes the road she did.I have my Master's degree from them, and I importantly reccommend their book and their classes.
