Could you suggest a meditation technique for me?


I'm 21 years ancient, and I have more white hairs than naught. I am a impressively tense individual, and have a frozen time relaxing, especially since I kicked my weed habit. At the same time, I have a feeling like I am lazy, which is a competence I THOROUGHLY DESPISE. Is there some method of self-discipline/concentration I can use to increase my energy and confidence, while at impossible to tell apart time helping me relax and bring me out of depression. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Maybe you could enroll in a yoga class, the benefits are endless and sometimes lately having something to look forward to each afternoon like the class will boost your spirits. For immediate nouns in meditation try some neck and shoulder rolls and holistic breathing...sit surrounded by a comfortable position and breath slowly in through your nose to a slow count of ten, and out through your mouth to a slow count of five, repeat this until you are more relaxed. The breathing along next to the counting helps get you focused on you instead of everything around you. Once you are comfortable next to this type of breathing begin incorporating pleasant thoughts, or a mantra pertaining to your stressful situation, e.g. if your boss is driving you crazy say something resembling " I am good at what I do and I am at this place in my duration for a good purpose" you can do it often and anywhere, it works for me everytime! Simply start next to breathing techniques like counting the breath, as you can find on www.buddhism.kalachakranet.org. But best is to find a center beside a qualified (Buddhist) teacher to learn the nuts and bolts. (Of course you don't need to become a Buddhist to practice meditation.)
You will need some self-control and perseverance in the origin, as meditation takes a while to learn and capture used to, but it can certainly address the things you mention, like enhanced concentration, a level of relaxation, self-confidence etc.

Well perhaps Tia Chi it is a mind centering exercise and exercise have many benifits one of which is to help beside depression i do not know your particular problems however this could be a good start also yoga is benaficial as all right and it depends how you want to combat your anxiety their are many natural alternatives out that greatly assistance as i personally use then immediately only as needed i hope this helps and apt luck.
