I actually studious years ago that there's no cure. While holding your breath, drinking water, and taking a teaspoon of sugar may seem approaching they help at times they really don't! So the best thing and individual thing to do is just consent to them go away on their own. They can be annoying sometimes, but they'll be gone before you know it! Hope this help! :o) if some one gives a shocking news... of any generous concerning u.it will stop, 100 % guaranteed.
boo!! Swallow a spoonful of sugar. Works EVERY TIME. Don't drink afterwards until you know they're gone, the graduals tickle the muscles that are spasming and calm them down and you're good..
ponder of a rabbit twitching its nose. this really works in minutes. drink sea through the straw while bending over. Works for me every time!!.
Get a glass of water ( preferably sparkly water) and hold your feeler while you drink it. Swallow and hold your breath a little longer and then breathe slowly. I know it sounds abnormal but it has always worked for me... WARNING: SOME OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN IS DRUG ADVICE CONCERNING "OFF LABEL" USES. ONLY A LICENSED PRESCRIBER IS QUALIFIED TO GIVE ADVICE TO PATIENTS ON "OFF LABEL" DRUG USES.

If your hiccups are really bothersome you could see your doctor and see if he/she will write you a prescription for Scopolamine.

I only just so happened to read about how Scopalamine is sometimes prescribed for hiccups this year. Scopolamine comes as a patch, and you could put it on prophylacticly to prevent hiccups. It is in general (FDA labeled) used for motion sickness. (you might have noticed on boats or airplanes the little white patch behind some of the passengers ears...)

If you are unqualified to go to your doctor about it you could try Benadryl (diphenhydramine). It have some of the same anticholinergic effects that scopalamine has, but it is much more sedating (makes you sleepy). I own NEVER heard of Benadry working for hiccups, but I might try it if I were within a bad way more or less some hiccups (it's cheap and generally safe).

IMPORTANT: Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) drug is not FDA labeled for this use, and for me to recommend any use of the product other than the labeled uses is technically unjust unless I'm a prescriber with clinical data to backbone me up. In other words, I'm legally required to tell you to ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT THIS past beginning any kind of pharmacotherapy (treatment next to drugs). There, I said it.

Folk remedies are generally unhelpful, but here are some interesting ones:
-Dill core tea
-Wedge of lemon with Worcestershire sprinkled on it.
-Place a bag of rime just below the ribcage
-Breathe in a brown dissertation bag- ten times exactly, very hard (you'll seize dizzy)
-Hold your breath and swallow three times without opening your mouth

If your friend have the hiccups, give them a penny and dont tell them why. Most folk remedies simply distract the huccuper from the reality that they have hiccups (think about it; person startled, holding breath and counting, all of the remedies listed above) and most of the time it works. If it does not, and hiccups are troublesome next see a doctor about some scopalamine..
Try some home-remedies from here:
http://myblogonbeauty.blogspot.com/2007/... Get a cup of water, bend over forward and drink from the side of the cup explicitly directly opposite of your body. It's like you hold to lean down and forward to get the water into your mouth. It works every time for me!.
