Did i bring too heaps meds tonight? will i OD?
okay, hopefully, im just being paranoid, but i took 2 dayquil pills, 2 ibuprofens, 2 acetaminophens, 3 penicillins, and 2 snorts of afrin in respectively nose. (and i took the same this morning) oh and its 11 pm now
i know i know, it be a lot to do and it's stupid, but was it too much?
to be honest, im kinda scared to jump to sleep.
help??
Answers: the safe dose of acetaminophens is 3900mg a day for an mature. You are right there if both the dayquil and regular acet. were 500mg each. No you won't die. Why did you lift dayquil before bed? It may keep you up. I don't know why people freak nearly acet. so bad, yes it can be dangerious but thats if you exceed that amount on a regular basis. Also try to wait a couple hours between ibuprofen and acet. it works better if you pinch one or the other every 2-3 hours (putting 4-6 hours between each type. Take tylenol at 2pm advil at 4pm, than tylenol at 6pm, there is 4 hours between the tylenol dose which is what is reccomenede)

This evening...Should be okay. You can rob ibuprofen and acetaminophen together. The dayquil and afrin should be fine too, but I am not sure about the penicillin. Was this prescribed?

1. Why the hell are you only randomly taking penicillins? You don't even know that you have a bacterial infection! This is why drug-resistant strains of bacteria are becoming more and more adjectives! Bad!
2. The 2 DayQuils and 2 acetaminophens was an overdose. DayQuil contains acetaminophen. Read labels. I don't think you'll die, but it be really stupid.
geez mate, yes it was too much .. i hope you at least have have something to eat .. if you start getting nasty cramping, nausea and vomiting get yourself to the emergency room fast . go eat something NoW if you haven't already and have some hose down about 20 minutes afterwards . heres hoping you don't do that again.

EDIT: OMG. Some relations drive me insane! People are worried because of a little too much acetaminophen? There are people that do heroine every day and live through it. I drank a in one piece bottle of Nyquil once and I am just FINE. You will be too. Don't listen to these people.
