Do any of the below ingredients hold a positive or distrustful effect on low blood sugar?
Calcium (from Calcium Carbonate)
Zinc (from PepZin GITM)
PepZin GITM(Zin-L-Carnosine Complex)
L-Carnosine (from PepZin GITM)
Mastic Gum (Pistacia lentiscus)
Slippery Elm
Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Maltodextrin, Silica, Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source) and Vegetable Coating. Vegetarian Formula.
Thanks.
Answers: Minerals typically don't impact the blood sugar enough unless that's one of the mechanisms they do in the body (like Chromium for example... that help with glucose metabolism). The PepZin GI would help with the mucosal facing of the stomach and the Mastic Gum and Slippery Elm have similar impacts.
That combination sounds like a typical stomach soother, but I haven't see any research that shows that any of those would normally have an impact on blood sugar (positively or negatively).
The other ingredients wouldn't impact blood sugar enough and would be too small of a potency to do much at adjectives anyway.
That being said, if you experienced a spike up or down in your blood sugar from this, it's possible that you had a type of allergic allergic reaction that's unusual for most people. Good luck and I hope I helped!
