Answer: When you get a medic alert bracelet you also carry a wallet card that you tell them what med's you are on
and what you are allergic to
who to contact in emergency.
on the bracelet it have your most important medical info on it
and yes it has save my life twice.
also my Mum had one and it have saved her life

My mother has had several (she other loses stuff). She hasn't had any major emergency while she was wearing it, but it comes in handy when she go to doctor's appt's so she doesn't have to try and remember all the medication she's allergic to. It would have come in handy when she be rushed to the hospital last year, but unfortunately she lost it! a accurate friend of mine got one yesterday, i think it will come within very handy for him...
