Does alcohol soothe a sore throat or make it worse?
I am not going to grasp drunk to get rid of the pain, lolz, but I am wondering if it help (the way salt sea does) or if it would just make it worse.
Answer: whisky and honey... you can be paid a hot toddy..
for me it makes it worse, salt hose down really helps though, but, scientifically, it might work because alcohol in much matching way as salt, take water out of your system, so I dont know, I know champagne hurts with a sore throat at lowest If you mix the alcohol with a honey, yes it will soothe your throat. The alcohol is best clear, like vodka. 50%-60% is the best. The problem is to hold it within your throat long enough for the devilish mix to work..
Yeah. I like to lug a shot of whiskey and chase it with some honey. It kills the germs, and after the initial burn, it starts to grain a lot better. Seeing as hard liquor burns going down even lacking a previously sore throat, I don't see how it would make things better..
My nan gives me whiskey, but I prefer Vodka. I don't know if its merely an old remedy, but I find it works. It kills the germs, as far as I know. NO ALCOHOL CAN MAKE YOU BETTER.
It will be resembling adding fuel to the fire.
