Answers:    No it doesn't as someone else said, it is the high blood sugars that make you tired.

I was on Metformin but established to see a naturopath to see if they could offer an alternative and he did and now I am Metformin free. My Naturopath is also a General practitioner so I felt more comfortable contained by trusting him and I'm glad I did. Also I changed my diet and started to exercise.

This is just my personal experience & everyone is different.
