Does Proloftin work for anxiety nouns?

I've been thinking of getting Proloftin because I tend to be anxious a lot. Does it work for anxiety/stress? Are here any side effects?
Answers:    According to http://www.proloftin.com/faq.php there are no side effects and it helps to reduce stress, promote relaxation, etc, etc. Granted, this is their website, so they'll enjoy whatever claims they want to make, but they list the ingredients at http://www.proloftin.com/research_home.p...
The ingredient makeup of the product is in actuality several ingredients that help with stress and relaxation including L-Theanine, Magnolia, and Rhodiola, plus it has Beta Sitosterol that help with cholesterol (which many people stress over) and Phosphatidylserine (which is more for brain robustness, but helps with neurotransmitters). I agree that none of those have any direct side effects as long as you filch the proper dosage.

All that being said, you could buy all of those ingredients separately (many in sophisticated dosages) for a LOT cheaper... they sell a 1 month supply for $59 (plus shipping), so I would never even think of paying that much for it. Save yourself some money and buy those 3-5 ingredients (3 for stress, 2 for support) from your local health food store or another well brought-up quality company. Good luck and I hope I helped! How can I cram to properly meditate?

I checked out the website referenced surrounded by the first answer and it does sound pretty expensive for the amount of herbs you get. I use a innate product called Panicyl for anxiety that has twice the amount of herbs and busy ingredients. It works well for me and is about half the cost of Proloftin. Hope this help out!
