Ear candling for treating ear congestion - any personal experience?

I have been suffering from chronic ear congestion for some time now, and enjoy tried everything from massaging my ear/jaw, irrigating it with ocean spray, essential oil, using nasal decongestant and nothing seems to fully kick it. A friend of mine told me nearly ear candling, and after some further research, I have discovered it is somewhat of a scam. I know that the "wax and toxins" that get "sucked out" is really just the wax, and I know nearby have been rare cases of serious smash up, but could it help with the congestion? I would think that a moment ago the heat applied to the inner ear would be good enough to loosen things up.

Can anyone please provide some personal experience (not of late stories from the internet/doctors, but actual personal experiences) about how it would help with the congestion?

Thanks!
Answers:    Never have an ear candle help one lick.
However, you might want to try this...

Take a hair dryer on a low setting about a foot from the ear for 10-15 second, wait the same amount of time, repeat a couple more times.
Provides some warmth to the ear, and if it relieves congestion, hurray, if it doesn't, most imagined its not a problem that will be helped by ear candles either... Source(s): Walking the nutrition sales floor for oodles years.

What is the best inherent remedy for..

I have many years of ear congestion that had me feeling spacey and nervous all the time. I used ear candling a few times, but never found it to be effective for long term nouns. My ear complaints were only a piece of many condition issues.

I started studying health and nutrition as well as visiting an acupuncturist and taking an acupressure class to boot. I started taking several supplements, and my ear problems cleared up. Every once within a while I get around something I am allergic to, and my ears will plug up again. I take a cluster of nutrients specific to allergy relief, and they clear inside two hours.

[Those nutrients are...600mg n-acetyl cysteine (NAC), 100mg alpha lipoic acid, and one packet of E-mer-gen-C...all available at your local health food store, I buy them online seriously cheaper at Vitacost.com.]

Some of the things I found actually worked.
* I bought this little pocket massager that's about the
size and shape of a deck of cards. I would use it to
massage the depressed nouns just behind the ear
lobe. It generally took 3-5 minutes, but be great for
reducing the pressure in my ears short term.
* I learned several of the pressure points in acupressure
for the ears, and I worked those points regularly.
That also only provided short term nouns.
* B100 vitamins, one in the morning and one at night
for a month, then one a daylight thereafte. What a
difference that made. For information about nutrients
and ear health, check out

I had started taking a fitting multi-vitamin and mineral
formula long before adding the B100; it wasn't until
taking the B100 that the pressure in my ears resolved

One of the things I read just about ear complaints was that very often chronic sinus infections can rationale pressure in the ears. If you have any sinus problems that are part of your vigour issues, you will need to address that as well.

How do you find explanation surrounded by..
