Euthanasia shoul be legalized?
Answer: Isn't that just suicide, but you pay a Dr. to do it? That have to many religious conflicts. Several religions denounce suicide.
But NO, it should not be legal. Whats subsequent? Human Humane Shelters? "Well this old senile lady have been here for two weeks with not a soul to claim her. Prep her for the long walk, Bill."
Solient Green much?.
It is interesting that veterinarians are allowed to use it and do so on a regular basis, whereas it is unconstitutional and unconscionable for most human physicians.
Veterinarians also follow Hippocrates in vowing "to do no harm" to their patients. So they will euthanize an animal when there is not medical recourse to comfort it. Owners must give permission for the procedure. Of course the animal have no say in the situation.
The problem in legalizing it for humans is that it could be used within the same way as it is next to animals. "Gee, Mom has terminal cancer so let's euthanize her because she is suffering"..
Yes if they are already terminally ill and here last little bit of time alive is just going to be spent contained by constant misery and pain and all they want is some peace and nouns an death with some dignity... they deserve to hold be able to make that choice for themselves, and to die as painlessly as possible. yes, I HATE watching loved one's die, Hospice is the best, but, I focus if you want to go and you've made your peace and spoken to your family/friends, we should be able to winding up the pain and celebrate the go of the person we lost, we can decide to embezzle the pain from our animals, but not our family/friends?.
I think it should be as not lone is it painful for yourself too see someone you love in torment but its too much for the person in backache and if that is their ladst request then they should be entitled to it. I don't know just about that.
Assisted suicide should be legal. (That's when *I* decide when it's time for me to die.)
Euthanasia is when someone ELSE decide when it's time for me to die. No thanks..
Anyone should be able to do anything they what to or near their own body if it hurts no one else. It depends...
