i have the flu and i need to get over it in a flash because i have surgery in two days!...What do I do??
Answers:    The flu is a virus so you cant use antibiotics and for the most part it have to run its course.
You can take medicines to FEEL better and control your symptoms but that doesnt mean you are "over" the flu
Your immune system will still be compromised so CHECK WITH UR DOCTOR give or take a few whether you need to push back the surgery since you are sick.

To feel better drink tea next to honey, gargle, take a medicines like tylenol or advil (ask your doctor if it will interfere near ur surgery) also try nyquil or something. If you have mucus there is mucinex.
Also if your cold/flu is in the impulsive stage take AIRBORNE (vitamins) and ZICAM (the kind you mix in a fluid and drink not the odd stuff to put in your nose/throat). Zicam helps your cold end faster.

Hope that help. Also if you are taking dayquil/tylenol etc let the nurse/surgeon know before your surgery incase that can cause any complications.

To adjectives Holistic Heath Practitioner?

There are no guarantees but I can suggest some vitamins that might comfort your body get back to a health state. The following vitamins might assistance if taken in sufficient amounts.

Vitamin D, Vitamin C, B1, and B3 are all needed by the body when we are well, but especially more we be are sick. Vitamin C, B1, and B3 are all water soluble which means your body simple flushes away the excess. No obligation to worry about taking too much. For vitamin D you are in little vulnerability of over doing it since your body will simply store any excess in your body. Most people run the danger of have too little rather than too much.

You can take the higher doses temporarily until you surface better, and then go and have your surgery when you discern better.

You could try a local vitamin shop in your area to buy what you need.

Giving blood, what to expect!?

Unfortunately, the flu last a long time. It's not like a cold where you can just rest for a time and expect it to clear up; it generally lasts at least a week and the symptoms are in principle severe the whole duration. You can try resting and drinking fluids (although as I'm sure you know, that won't be allowed within a certain time frame previously the surgery), but generally that will just make you touch a bit better and not actually get rid of the flu. It's your doctor's call, but if it seem like having the flu will negatively affect your surgery (which is likely, what next to breathing difficulties, increased risk of infection, etc.), it will probably be rescheduled until you're well again.
