Have you ever used those toxin releasing foot patches? Do they work?
Answer: I know acupressurists/acupuncturists who use them. I have seen the results. When you remove them from your foot they have turned from white to different shades of grey to black and are really smelly. The blacker the patch, the more toxins are supposed to have be released by your body..
The main ingredient in those pad is vinegar, so it works on the same principle as drinking or bathing with vinegar.
I assume they do work to an extent, but I prefer to do a detoxifying diet for 2 weeks. Better and longer remaining results.
EDIT:
BTW. vinegar detox only works if you (still) have a gallbladder.
Just an FYI.
Truth: So, you're insinuating that the skin on the bottom of your foot is devoid of a blood supply? And that the nutrients, enzymes, wastes, and oxygen carried by your blood remains ONLY within the vein, arteries, and capillaries?
Obviously you failed your big school biology class..
20-20 just investigated both the Kinoki and the Avon products. They have volunteers use them, then they sent the used patches to a lab. They analyzed the pad and found no toxins. This is a pure scam., and guess they really do stink. No I have not, but if you caould let me know how they are. If I try them first I will tolerate you know!!.
I have heard several negative things about them. I cant see how they can possably work. Suck out toxins through your foot and not your blood ? Think about it. YES! I bought them on ebay and they were horrible not because they didn't do anything but because they smelled, approaching hot dogs or something even before they were put on the foot lol. But I herd that the ones on TV do not smell and I'm ordering them because the other ones did come across like they were doing something. Actually the primary ingredients in most of them is like wicker, vinegar and tourmaline.
