Answer: The narrow minded skeptics who say that in attendance is not a single scientific experiment that shows that Reiki exists has not researched to see if his statements are true even so he makes the same statement frequently.
There are studies that show eficacy and more are individual done every day. Interesting that there be a time that people would have argued that within no energetic currents moving through the body but now we know that adjectives activity of the brain and nerves is electrical impulse and that what make the heart beat is electrical impulse, adjectives energy.
If our thoughts and all of the functions of our brain are electrical and chemical impulse traveling through the neurons as directed by the thoughts of the brain, why can we not direct other types of energy through by using thoughts?
There is research and within the past I have posted some of the studies, today I enjoy posted interviews with scientists who have conducted studies on Reiki.
Meanwhile, I can transmit you that it has saved my duration by eliminating a life threatening condition that the doctors said that I would enjoy to live with for the rest of my life and be heavily medicated within order not to die. Within 6 months of weekly sessions from another practioner and daily self treatment, my condition down grade from life threatening to inconvenient. I went from need 10 prescriptions daily to taking one prescription weekly.
I have see Reiki relieve headache, back pain and cancer niggle in my clients. I have see it clear up allergies and asthma, lower high blood pressure and bring peace of mind to my clients..
"healing" and "healer" are the most overused words in the altmed phrase book.
The vast cosmic energy aft the implausible idea of Reiki (healing touch, intuitive healing, cosmic beneficial yada yada) hhas never...let me repeat...NEVER...been detected by actual scientists. This contained by spite of the "fact" that apparently anyone can learn to do it after a few hours of training. This in spite of the certainty science is able to measure the warmth left over from the Big Bang.
Reiki practitioners have never be able to demonstrate an ability to detect the so call energy field beneath controlled conditions. Never mind being able to rub it, never mind show that said manipulation can alter health outcomes in any measurable passageway.
reiki offers a non-solution to non-disease. It is the self deluded wave their hands over the worried well.
it is one of the bigger Alt Med scam out there, and "reiki masters" are among the more arrogant of the deluded.
Think I'm wrong? Prove it. Claiming that reiki transcends the faculty of modern science is a copout, and puts you squarely into the supernatural, supporting the notion that many altmed practices are nil more than a substitute for religion.
1. Yes I have tried Reiki. It is amazing. It isn't rocket science and there's nothing to prove--it's adjectives about the intention. When a person is unloading Reiki they may feel something (heat from the energy) or nothing at adjectives. Even if in reality zilch is really happening the whole experience is vastly relaxing!
Science can't prove everything. Since when did science prove the existence of love? I'd like to see that one debated!
