Helpp!what are other ways to test drugs despite animal testing?
I'm doing this persuasive speech on animal drug trialling?
Answer: I would say with annihilation row inmates but that is not allowed within America
.. .. ..
Or give it to a lab that does live people conducting tests
.. .. ..
the people get salaried to use the new drug to see what the side effects are
.. .. ...
Nope. There is no other way to make a purchase of the information that we get by performing in vivo conducting tests. We can only measure so much surrounded by a petri dish. To really know what a drug will do, you have to put it in a living system that's as similar as possible to humans. That's why we use rats. They're are nearly no physiological differences between humans and lab rats. In accessory, due to the short life cycle of a rat, we can see effects in a much shorter time than it would appropriate with humans.
Personally, I hate the certainty that we must test on animals. But, if we were to stop, the nouns of modern medicine would stop dead contained by its tracks. There are computer systems that can model some biological processes. We use them mostly for studies involving one or two enzymes or receptors. They are many, many decades from person able to approximate even the simplest of organisms. Thus, I doubt we'll see in silico conducting tests replacing in vitro or in vivo in the next 50 years..
there are pretty much three category of testing that are commonly used to evaluate drugs that aren't already out there on the open market. Animal testing is one of them.
Testing on humans, aka clinical trials, is another one. This is considered the most reliable, and is absolutely called for to conduct before offering a drug to the general public.
Testing surrounded by vitro (i.e. in a pitri dish) on tissues or cells is the third type.
Usually, animal carrying out tests and in vitro testing are used to determine how a drug works and if it is past the worst enough to try out on humans.
Natural medicines which hold a long history of use, as well as extant drugs, can be studied by another method, which is by noting differences within groups of people who use them, as compared to groups of people who don't use them.
If such a substance is found to be largely safe and effective contained by the population using it, it would not be considered unreasonable or unethical to initiate human clinical trials to learn more roughly speaking it..
Unfortunately the only other way to interview them is on people! Do you want your kid to be first? I doubt it.
The only alternative is doing roomy clinical trials with the possible result being deeply of dead people! Guess what, lab rats and bunnies can't gain attorneys and sue!
The industry is driven by potential lawsuits - the only way to prevent animal carrying out tests is to make drug companies immune to lawsuits by grieving families! (Something they would be extraordinarily happy about contained by fact!) Take your pick!.
I believe they use computer models. Alot of animal testing is repetitive. They basically keep doing it so they can get money from the organization to perform the tests. I feel there are alot of sadistical people out in that. Go to PETA"S website, they probably have alternatives there. There is vat grown skin cell that could be tested on. Thereby saving animals suffering. Although it is the animals that help us construe things just as much as our own skin. Take the Horseshoe crab. It has a property within its blood that can help man kind. If that be never experimented on we would have never found it.
The Vat grown skin is not only possible but is one conducted right now..
ok I used to be all in the order of that s#IT, but if it were your child that it was going to be in your favour a life wouldn't you reather see a mouse die, then your child going blind, or die'n? Sorry only my thought, if you need to do a paper look at both sides Yes. You check drugs on people. And that is usually what happen. First animals, then living human beings.
No computer models. It has to be on living tissue.
