How do u cure migranes (home remedies?)?
Answer: Feverfew will help to alleviate the pain, ginkgo biloba aids circulation and can stifle sensitivity to sound and light, peppermint will sustain with the nausea.
Research has found that taking lecithin (between 3 and 6 1,200 mg capsule ) at the onset of a migraine lessened both length and severity of the headache.
Inhaling essential oil of lavender at the naissance of a migraine can also lessen both pain and duration.
To prevent occurrences:
Avoid alcohol, avocados, chocolate, MSG, nitrites, aged meat, canned fish and dairy products.
Regularly consume almonds, parsley, fennel, garlic and fresh pineapple..
Feverfew works as a preventative, taking some everyday. It does not work when you have the acute condition going on.
People low within magnesium are more prone to headaches, especially migraines. You might want to add the supplement. (see contact below for magnesium info)
Depending on the type of headaches here's another option. My migraines are blood pounding, that characteristics of wooshing sound you get when you stand up, not the muscle constriction giving. What helps me is to put my feet surrounded by hot water and place a cold pack on my head. The hot dampen dilates the blood vessels in the lower legs while the he cold pack restricts the blood vessel in the head, dispursing the blood and relieving pressure..
In assimilation to the commonly used feverfew, meadowsweet is an effective anti-inflammatory and pain murderer. In Chinese medicine, migraines are often attributed to chronic Liver Qi Stagnation, and a formula approaching Free & Easy Wanderer can be used to soothe the Liver Fire that rises up to create the migraine. I have suffered with migrains for oodles years, as do my Mother and Brother.
There are no "cures" for migrains...homemade or otherwise...you can help AVOID them, but changing copious things in your daily life span (diet, etc)...but for some of us, even that offers little help.
You're best to see your Dr and discuss option with him/her..
I get them recurrently. I usually take a perscription pain reliever when they return with really bad, but for just a moderate migraine, I rub a but of mint grease on my temples, turn the lights and tv off and lay down next to my eyes closed. This is a condition that some people outgrow. I believe you have them from inheritance. I use to have migraines in my rash twenties as did my Father. I am now in my forty's I hold not had them in years. Rx from doc worked best..
Make sure you drink adequate water. Be careful next to caffeine, citrus fruit, onions and perfume. Good luck. Studies have found that people who suffer migraines are low on Vitamin B and Magnesium!
