I've just recently heard of this practice from a friend, whose dog is undergo Ozone Therapy every week for a bad wound that the dog sustained. I was simply wondering whether or not this medicinal practice really works. There seem to be conflicting opinion on the practice, and I hadn't heard of it until just this afternoon.

Uh. Let me put it this way. Ozone react violently and instantly with virtually any sort of organic compound it encounter. It -shreds- them. It's used to disinfect things occasionally, clear odors in incredibly tiny concentrations. In high concentrations it'll burn your lungs, your eyes, basically verbs anything living it comes into contact quite readily.

So in other words it's both dangerous and ineffective.
