How resourcefully does NyQuil work for you?
I've had a fever and a bad cough for a couple days presently and im taking nyquil. When I was about 16 or 17 the stuff use to work on me instantly. I would get super drowsy and after just pass out and i would sleep like a babe. Now that I am 21 I take the stuff and I don't even don't even get sleepy and no I've not taken this stuff regularly so im not addicted to it. first time in years i've taken it. does this stuff work for anyone else?

its the cold reliever and antihistamine that have the sedative effect.
You will develop a tolerance to any drug that you take for an extended period of time. This technique that you have to consume more to achieve the same desired results

Yes, NyQuil works for me, but sometimes I get better results than at other times. I actually use Walmart's brand, and use just a tad over the recommended dose. The alcohol it contains along next to the antihistamine is what makes you tired, I'm not sure why it would not be working for you. Plus obviously it has other alive ingredients to help you. See the directions and how often you can take it per year. Maybe you just need to be more consistant with it per year. Sorry if this wasn't much help! Get better soon!
