I am soooo confused on alkaline/acidic stuff?
1. do bitter foods form alkaline environment in your body and visa versa or do alkaline foods form alkaline and acidic foods form caustic environment in your body ?
this so biased, some say sharp foods form alkaline and visa versa some say acidic foods form sharp environment in your body and visa versa
2. which environment does Candida thrive in your body : alkaline or caustic? some say acidic some vote alkaline
3. eggs said to be either alkaline or acidic! which one? and at hand are tons of other similar products that "belong" both to alkaline and acidic!
why dont those "professionals" make up their minds on that finallyt?
Answer: professionals should hold this straight. It can be objectively tested.
Acidic are those that have a pH of less than 7. (like somach acerbic, and vinegar) They usually smell strong.
Alkalinic are those substances that have a pH of greater than 7 (like bleach and soap and baking soda). They usually feel slippery.
Did you know that you will die from ketoalkalosis if you get through an entire box of baking soda. Pretty cool, eh?
anyways-The substances pull your bod'y pH towars what they are (acids pull you towards tang, etc)
The name for this is ketoacidosis (too much acid) and ketoalalosis (too much alkaline)
These are fancy words that mean nearby are too many "ketones" (or free radicals) of a specific pH in your body.
2. Candida (and adjectives fungal infections) thrive in acidic enviornments.
3. I own never heard about eggs. Just google it and try to find a respaectable site (like webmd or a .org or .edu site)
NIH (nat'l institute of health) or WHO (world robustness org) also usually have good research in the order of these kinds of things..
Acidic food or drinks are materials in aqueous solution they produce Hydrogen ions, alkaline food produce OH ions
Most of innate foods have this materials but it is not concentrated, the body can manage to obtain use of them, you can get information's on this by doing a search on the Internet, ask your doctor, he will explain that to you. Acidic foods form an caustic environment, alkaline do the opposite.
The most common for respectively are
acid promoting: processed foods, most grains, most meat, sugar, soda.
Alkaline promoting: fresh fruits and vegatables.
Citrus fruits are a funny exception, because they give the impression of being acidic, but they make the system alkaline. I've talk to a couple people about why this is, and I've never gotten anything excluding "it's the random exception." Not counting citruses, all caustic foods acidify the body, and all alkaline do the opposite.
Eggs are also a funny one, because the white and yolk enjoy opposite effects (so it basically is neutral). I can't really substantiate this claim, but I reflect their relative benefit comes from how overcooked they are, so lightly cooked ones would most likely sort the body more alkaline, whereas heavily cooked do the acidic approach. Of course, the only channel you can get away with undercooking eggs is if you hold a very clean source for them which is commonly difficult to aqquire unless you live on a farm.
The body has a colloquial ability to maintain it's ph, but since the modern diet have completely shifted to the acid forming foods, this process gets overwhelmed, and the body become acidic.
The reason populace care about adjectives of this is because it's been observed a lot of conditions thrive surrounded by acidic body environments (and have trouble surviving within alkaline ones), including cancer and many bacterial/fungal/viral conditions, such as candida. Hence, the proponents of this school of thought believe that something should be done to shift the body's ph away from tartness. The japanese make water filter that alkalinize the water (and in turn the body's ph), and they've be hugely popular over there for the health benefits they are puported to create. However deplorably in the west anything comparable is very expensive and the nonspecific advice of eat smaller quantity processed foods meats grains and sugars is probably the best item you can do unless you have cancer and have a greater call for to fix your ph.
Hope that helps, that's about everything I've scholarly on this in the past few years.
