I have a few friends who argue that there is a safe agency to use the drug ecstasy. I know that the drug started out with a legit use in treatment & that psychiatrist fought to keep the drug legal. But is it really safe? Ive also read that it cause your brain to empty its entire supply of serotonin into your body which is why you crash the next day. This make me question whether or not the drug can be used safely. Any ideas?

Usually its half Meth or coke with MDMA. (mdma is what gives you the effects of xtasy)

Well, I once had a coke dealer relay me that he would never do E because "that s--t will kill you." He wouldn't even sell it because he said killing customers be bad for business.Whether or not there's any safe use for the drug, I can't say. The thing about the serotonin seem unlikely - hormones are everywhere in your body; I don't think there's a way it could flush out adjectives of one hormone and not the others.
As for scientists and theraputic uses, they once said the same thing about LSD, and in reality I believe heroine was orignally designed as a "safer" painkiller than morphine. Further, some of the drugs that psychiatrists use all the time are flat-out poison once advertise as a "chemical lobotomy." On those, at least, you have the luxury of being competent to do your own research and knowing that the pill you're given is what you think it is.

It currently has no legal use - which mode, no safe use, at least in my feelings. I base that on the fact that anything you buy on the street is unverifiable. Most ecstasy is lace with something else - so you're taking your life in your hand with every dose. A lot of drugs started out with therapeutic uses, but be later found to be unsafe for various reasons; this is one.How much would you compensate to enjoy..
Ecstasy is risky ... it's never completely locked ... but if you use it wisely and in moderation then you can achieve away with not damaging your brain or dying. I personally wouldn't try it.http://www.ecstasydata.org
