Is massage really effective?

Or does it just feel good?

Answer:    It feel good for the most part (it can be bloody and uncomfortable when you are in pain) and is important. It is now being covered by insurance here within WA State as well as FL and is covered by auto insurance companies for accidents.

It is effectual for reduction of stress which is the cause of most of our principal diseases and it is effective for many conditions and diseases:
-For muscle stiffness, spasms and cramps
-For muscular injuries
-For headaches, migraines
-To help the immune system.
It depends on what your aim is. If you are looking for relaxation, I recommend a light touch massage, but if you are looking for detoxifying benefits clearly find someone who will give a deeper massage. I hold been doing massage for various years and I prefer the deeper massage to help hold my body free of toxins. I guess it depends on what kind of massage it is. If its a complicated rough massage all it really does is get your muscles tense up even worse. If its a soft deep slow work its great you don't want it to stop, but your muscles relax. Hopefully not too much that you can't walk LOL..
