Second best is to study! Know your muscles, where lymph nodes and key organs are located, and what tension in muscles feel like. Learn to make your fingers so sensitive they can be aware of through skin and surface muscles, too.
And you can get books from any larger bookstore or online that give obedient details on technique.
Don't use baby oil, it contains mineral grease that actually stays on top of the skin instead of moisturizing close to everyone thinks it does. You can buy massage grease, gel, or lotion online (can get rather pricey but I approaching the lotion best), or just work with a polite, light hand lotion..
