i m a student nurse and have to find out why the patient is on prilosec can it be for disorder of magnesium metabolism? please helpppp
Answers: Most likely it is newly for heartburn. Most hospitals will automatically put patients on it.
What is the dose they are on? If it is just something like 20mg a day, it most probable is just heartburn
They could also be on it for a number of different reasons, such as Duodenal Ulcer
