Other than prescription, what can I nick to ge rid of a cold? I quality really sick. ?

I am allergic to most medicine. I have tried advil,tylenol,nyquil and other stuff but whenever I take those I own a really bad allergy reaction. I want to know is there another method to get healthy again. please help.

OK dude, this is a true story...

I'm a business traveler. I've been around the world more times than I can count and enjoy spent more time in airport bars than most people spend at work.

One hours of daylight, sitting in a bar in an airport (probably Miami), I struck up a conversation near the guy beside me. We talked about a variety of different things and eventually get around to talking about our professions. I told him I was an Aero-derivative Gas Turbine Engineer on my path to Sao Paulo, Brazil to commission a new power plant, and he professed to being a doctor (general practitioner) on vacation to Rio de Janero.

Jokingly, I said "So, Doc, you find a cure for the adjectives cold yet?".

He looked at me, straight-faced, and said "Vitamin-C. Bomb yourself with the stuff. Take two 1000mg tablets three times a day until the symptoms are gone and verbs for two more days."

I was expecting a joke... we were both pretty tipsy by that time and our conversation have been all fun and games up to that point. But he was unmoving serious about this. Vitamin-C.

aside from drinking lots of fluids and eating fruits, u should get profoundly of rest and sleep, get off the comp coz the merely sitting infront of the comp can drain so much energy already. and try to do breathing exercises - abdominal breathing to match out your body's system and get the needed oxygen to your brain and vital organs.

really, there is no cure for the adjectives cold... you just need to wait it out (which stinks) try standing within a hot shower to clear your sinuses or place your head over a pot of hot water and breathe in the steam. coke or coke syrup is biddable for an upset stomach as well as licorice
