so it started beside what I thought was a mosquito bite behind one knees, then the other, then my ring finger become too sensitive to wear my ring and a bit swollen and a few inexplicable itchy spots under each of my arms and other variable spots including the tops of my feet. I have used anti-itch cream but zilch seems to help. I don't dream up I ate anything out of the norm or took any different meds.any ideas? And how do I stop the itching? I am going insane! And my finger is a bit swollen and not only itches very soon but hurts as well.
Answer: Ohhhh, geez mate, that's no good Is it possible that you are have an allergic reaction to a new perfume, body soap or body lotion, laundry detergent, nouns freshner, cleaning product? All these things could be irritating your sensitive system.
In the meantime to realkalise the PH level of your skin on your body and eliminate the ghastly itching put a cup full of white vinegar into a tub and fill with thaw water Get in the hip bath and soak for 15 - 20 minutes ensuring you don't get the vinegary marine in your eyes or it may burn .. the vinegar will realkalise the ph level of your skin and gross you comfortable again..
You are obviously using a body lotion, soap, laundry powder, perfume etc that you are allergic to and it is messing with the ph match of the skin on your skin ...... try different brands out, the best ones to buy if you can't afford the organic varities (usually really expensive) are the ones specifically designed for people beside sensitive skin.
The vinegar and water cure is brilliant and works instantly.....
No chemicals or other nasties in the vinegar and it is totally cheap and easy to do
take carefulness of you

I wish you had said how long ago this started. It does nouns like a topical allergy. Dilute some apple cider vinegar with an equal amount of hose down. Add a drop or two of pure essential lavender oil or chamomile oil. Use this to kindly wash the affected areas.
Since you enjoy it on your armpits, I would suspect a laundry product, new unwashed item of clothing or bath soap or lotion. It may be something strange or just something you have developed an allergic hostile response to over time.
Dry skin can cause dermatitis or aggravate a skin condition caused by something else. Use plain outdated virgin olive oil for a moisturizer while you try to get to the bottom of this.
Any possibility you own been exposed to poison ivy or oak? It can take several days for the blisters to appear. They start out liquid, itchy and red. After a day or so they start to hurt. You will break out first in the areas first exposed. People who've breathed the smoke from the vines burning can break out any and everywhere. Benadryl help. Also a topical product called "Ivy Itch RE-LEAF" made by Herbs, Etc. out of Santa Fe..
Yes, it sounds like "hives" - usually you seize "hives" - like they're on your arm or leg. But you can also get something approaching angio-edema which is just hives on steroids.
Very unpleasant.
The only item that usually puts a stop to this is Prednisone - you can take it safely for a while, but probably not a suitable drug to "get on" and use day after daytime.
Not much you can do topically - anti-itch stuff will work on weak cases of hives, but not on strong cases. Both heat and rime seem to make them worse. What they repeatedly recommend is to just 'bathe' them with a cool chilly cloth. Other than that, you have to wait for the swellings to stir away. They will last 2 to three days.
Or perhaps I'm wrong and it isn't hives. I suppose you have need of an opinion from some doctor..
You could be having an allergic counterattack to anything. When you say under your arms and lower than your ring finger, It makes me think of metals. Perhaps from the blade from shaving and the metals of the ring. Maybe it's perfume or even laundry soap or stress. You might try Benadryl. It sounds like you may have tried hydocordisone creams as topical agent. One time I have a reaction so badly that I have to be put on steroids to clear it up. So if it doesn't help, make an appt. Go to a doctor or pharmacist.
