Reflexology query?

I am training to be a reflexologist and would close to to ask any reflexologists out there if they can tell me why the 'balls' of my husband's foot ache for several days after I have worked his foot. He has reflexology once a week. He suffers from chronic asthma and allergic rhinitis and takes tablets adjectives year round for hay fever. I know it is linked but sometimes he have to take paracetamol as his feet tenderness so much - although it is usually only one foot at a time. Could it be that his chest is so tight. He is going to be my 'case study' so it would help me if anyone agrees and can detail me it will wear off - I would just vote that his ankles are not very flexible but he does walk long distances (miles) and is on his foot all day beside his job.
I hope someone can suggest any relief for him as he finds reflexology terribly relaxing and doesn't want to stop.

Answer:    You are also breaking up adhesions in the tissue on the bottom of his foot. This can cause pain.

The first time I ever have a real reflexology session, I felt similar to I didn't have any lower leg/foot and was walking on nouns but a little while later my foot were so painful.

Keep working on them and hold him walk on reflexology paths (with stones contained by the ground) or roll on golf balls or whatever to maintain working on it to get everything out..
Hi try this, sit him on achair cross ways to work on his back...
Now compassionately rub the back from the neck near both hands down to the tops of the buttocks, and do this about 6 times.
Next press the calfs from below the knee to the ankle.
Let him rest a while before moving. Now procede beside your reflexology without too much pressure.
That should do the trick..
The answer is when you do a reflexology session you need to work on his calves too. The muscles and tendons could be pulling the calcaneous bone (the globe of his foot) and causing him pain. When you do your reflexology you are giving nouns in one area and not the other. So pocket it on up the leg, you will not need to rub above the knee. As for his chest and asthma reflexology is a great mode to relieve and help that along! Although signs of those kinds of problems would be contained by the pad of his foot. If I misunderstood and you did mean the wipe, same deal go up the leg too. I hope this help and good luck reflexology is wonderful!
