Since when is taking Taurine unhealthy?
Some of the posts on here voice it increases your chance of a heart attack? Yet on the web it say it used in people next to heart conditions...
I already have a fast heart rate .. whats the Truth?
Answer: It's not... I'd be interested to see the reference anyone who says it's bad are from. I simply did a search in Yahoo for "Taurine heart attack", and of the top 10 hits, adjectives of them seem to be saying it's worthy for heart health, good for preventing (or recovering from) heart attacks, or accurate for pets suffering from heart attacks... who knew?
You can verify my search at http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=taurine...
Ultimately, they may own read a study pointing out that too much may cause trouble (and too much of anything can be bad for you). or the Taurine within energy drinks (meaning the energy drink is what's bad). but overall, surrounded by the right doses, it's good for Cardiovascular health and helping to prolong a healthy electrolyte balance..
How are you getting your Taurine? If it is within energy drinks and you already have a soaring heart rate I would not drink them because of the multiple ingredients in energy drinks that get moving heart rate such as caffeine and guarana.
Taurine is an essential acid produced by humans and there are multiple studies that hold shown it can help with maintain cardiac health and a healthy consignment. That does not necessarily mean supplementing your diet with it is needed or beneficial though, unless if you are not sufficiently expert to produce it due to an inability to convert cystathionine to cysteine..
