What are the starting salaries for manipulate therapists? That will help me engender up my final decision whether to take this up or not.

Go get some massage like about 40 or 50 from a range of therapists with different styles and ask them how they close to it and what they do. Go visit some massage school and ask the graduates how they are doing and if it was worth it..

While I love my profession it is not for everyone. Many people before me hold said it, just because you have honourable hands does not mean that you will gross a good massage shrink, there is more to it than having worthy hands.. You need to enjoy a good disposition, good manners, nice appearance, stamina, self-discipline(if you are going to run our on your own), you have to not mind when someone who just get off work comes in and does not smell that great and you still enjoy to massage them(even though most of us ask for our clients to take a shower formerly coming in this does not always happen), you hold to be able to stand the slow times, the hectic times and all the times within between, you have to realize that you have abundantly of competition, and most of all you have to believe within what you do and love what you do ( I know people who came into this thinking they be going to make lots of money and most clients sense that they don't care and don't travel back).
It took me about 2 years to build up a steady clientele where I be comfortable. I have friends who have "angelic hands" and have been at this for as long as five years and still do not enjoy a steady clientele.
I am not trying to discourage you, but trying to give you a point of view from the analyst. It is hard work, but worth it. I love my job and what I am competent to do for my clients. I bring relief to those who come in and that is to say the best part of my job, the money man second.

Decide what type of massage psychotherapist you want to be, do you want to work on the medical end, spa end, or somewhere within between.
