Toprol/grapefruit?
interferance
Answer: There own been several talks in the order of Toprol grapefruit, or taking Toprol with grapefruit. While there is to be however a study made regarding Toprol’s interaction with grapefruit, it be already theorized that grapefruit could inhibit the body’s absorption of medication. So it’s advisable to take Toprol with plain dampen..
I have two huge recent "Bibles" of interactions between Drugs, Herbs and Vitamins. There is nothing denial mentioned in any of them between Toprol and grapefruit.
There might be a negative interaction between Toprol and calcium - so lug calcium at another time of the day.
It is positive to take Coenzyme Q10 at alike time asToprol as Toprol and other beta-blockers inhibit the action of CoQ10.
However, grapefruit has a few very negative interactions, among others next to Statin drugs like Lipitor, Zocor, Mevacor etc. (Toprol is not one of those, but I add this here as it's important) as it impair the normal body's breakdown of several drugs including statins, allowing them to build up to potentially excessive levels surrounded by the blood. The effect may last for up to 3 days or more after the last cup of juice.
Take good thinking of yourself!
