What alternative/herbal treatments are suitable for sebaceous cysts?
My partner have had one on his neck for years and no doctor have offered any effective treatment for it. It is irritating him a lot and frequently get infected and sore. It is very deep below the skin.

Good grief what are we in the 1300's ? Get the thing lance and drained or it will never ever go away. I ignored mine and have to have actual surgery to have it removed. Forget alternative treatment. Heck if you own the guts as stated use alcohol, a delicate hand and an exacto stick and voila. As far as I know, there really isn't much you can do, I think they're heritable. My mom used to get them.
I get them, too & I usually grasp them cut out.
If it's getting infected he should have it removed.
I don't really know of any alternative treatments, sorry.

alcohol and a razor blade, suck it up and cut it out. Ive done it nearly four times b/c I have no insurance. Works like a charm. Use a contemporary razor blade and clean it in good health with alcohol to make sure its sterile. Dont press too unyielding it just takes rather nick to do it. If it gets swollen do it later because itll be easier to get to. There is a product called Herbal Oil 31 from Just thet did the trick for my dad, you are suposed to use it once a daylight and massage the cyst a little bit
