What are the best over-the-counter sleeping pills?

i havent been able to fall asleep when i call for to and i tried tylenol's SIMPLY SLEEP (25mg per pill) and they suck! what is good out there?
Answers:    Jackie Draper has the right theory... Valerian and Melatonin (ONLY if you're over 16) are very good to help you sleep with ease, but you should NOT just take more sleeping pills than the package recommend unless a doctor specifically says you can. Taking more than the recommended dose of an OTC pill without a doctor's recommendation can be awfully dangerous, plus it often wouldn't work if the recommended dose doesn't work.
Really, any OTC sleep medicine could get a big risk of addiction, so you want to be careful about those. A few other natural option are Chamomile, Hops, L-Tryptophan, L-Theanine, Passionflower, and Scullcap (an herb).
You can try any one of those to help you sleep naturally. Good luck and I helped! Source(s): Health/nutrition classes and I'm a Product Specialist for a vitamin company

What are some well-mannered household remedies for..

Ativan and Valium are NOT over the counter.

Try Valarian. It smells similar to old feet, but they'll put you RIGHT to sleep.

If you're 18+, get melatonin. If you're any younger, I'd stay away; melatonin is a essentially released hormone, and taking it at a young age can * up your body's balance.

Or you could take 3-4 simply sleep, that's what I usually do.

Naproxen pills fruitless for you?

I come up with you can take Tablet (Ativan 1mG) or Valium 2mg don't take a lot of Sleeping bill its intensely harm full for your health.

Has anybody hear this formerly? my doctor..

tylenol pm and sominex
