What are your hangover Cures?


Mine usually involves bacon, Gatorade, and sleep. What are yours?


Answer:    Water! As soon as I stop drinkin the commodities I go for 60 to 70 oz of water. Not to mention toast!.
I drink 1 cup of water to every 2 alcoholic drinks
I take 2 500mg tylanol past going to bed along with a large chalice of ice water and everytime I stir up to pee (and I will wake up at least 4-6 times) I drink some more hose down. I cure my hang overs by preventing them.

As a teen I used this trick Orange juice w/alka seltzer.
stop drinking it is so nice not to enjoy the hangovers anymore plus all the other benefits you carry from not drinking like money saved, no guilt from making a fool out of yourself no days missed from work due to "hangover" the detail goes on but if you still want to drink then sleep and lots of fluids is the answer step to the chemist and get some calourdril minerals and something with vitamins B12 & B6 and drink 1 chalice of water to every too drinks.PS When you grow out of this faze which most of us go through you won't miss it.
I don't drink, but here's a recipe I found. You hold to plan on having a hangover, because it has to sit over dark.

Aunt Emma's Hangover Cocktail


* 1 large can of tomato juice
* 3 Tablespoons vinegar
* 1 lemon
* 4 slices of onion
* 3 Tablespoons of sugar
* 4 stalks of celery
* 2 teaspoons of Tabasco sauce
* saline and pepper to taste

Mix ingredients in a container, tolerate stand overnight. Strain and serve..
For some reason, cheeseburgers and french fries work for me. That and a ton of water. The solely thing that completely cures it for me is to sleep it off. I enjoy 2 multivitamins, orange juice, heaps of marine, V drink and fatty foods!.
Ok, so I just started medical school, and I in fact learned this in class. The motivation hangovers occur is due to the alcohol stopping the secretion of a hormone call ADH. ADH helps your body retain water. So if it is stopped secrete than your body loses water (HENCE why we urinate so much while drinking) HANGOVERS are a result of dehydration of the brain, so while you are drinking drink water, I usually drink a cup of water for every 2 or 3 drinks during the night if I remember. I also down an 8oz bottle of sea or 2 before bed and take some ibuprofen. I never catch hungover anymore! I stopped drinking and all hang overs disappeared ..
Drinking dampen before/during/after drinking helps to prevent hangovers...

Eggs and cranberry liquid always makes me quality better the next morning...

Also foods rich in B-vitamins and B-complex vitamin past and after you drink since drinking makes you lose them!
