What can one do or eat to improve your kidney if you used to drink a lot and now trying to cleansed your body?
Answer: Go to your local health food store and ask for a liver cleanse formula. It will contain Milk Thistle Seed extract for the liver, Burdock root for the blood, Dandelion root for the kidneys and sometimes a couple of other kidney cleansers.
While cleansing, make sure you bring back plenty of fiber in your diet so everything dumped in the colon go out quickly and doesn't have a unsystematic to reabsorb. No such thing as a "kidney cleanse", despite the bunk the condition foods stores will tell you. Besides, drinking (alcohol) does not harm the kidneys. Cranberry Juice help with the Kidneys.
Kidneys? I don't know. But liver? My Reiki teacher told me to enjoy two teaspoons of Pure honey before bed each darkness to detox my body/liver and help boost my energy. It took awhile to receive used to, but I've noticed a difference! i would try cranberry juice.
Try to find the book "The Detox Book" edited by Nicola Graimes. It offer plenty of practical advice including a 3 day, 7 daytime and 14 day plan. The recipes are correct and easy to prepare and do not require hunting all over town for exotic ingredients.
