What is wrong beside me?
I have no cold, I'm not sick at all. Only one of my lymph nodes in my d¨Ścolletage is swollen, about the size of a golf ball. I went to the doctor, he is treating my symptom near steroids and has given me an antibiotic in case it is tonsillitis (which it isn't, I've have that before.) It feels like someone is punching me within the neck when I move, it hurts pretty bad.
I have no other symptoms.
What could it be?
Answers: I will I had a better answer, but if your doctor didn't have any idea, I would try a different doctor... perchance a specialist. Unfortunately, a doctor could look at your background, your medical history, and actually see your lymph nodes to get a better theory of what's wrong. Anyone online will only be able to guess since we wouldn't have access to any of that.
I've gone through a couple medical issues when the doctor didn't know what it be, so I went to a different doctor when their recommendations didn't work. Another doctor DID know what was wrong and they help to clear up the problem in less time than it took to find that doctor.
Yes, it's more money and more time... but I'm glad I did it because that was better than anyone ill for months on end with no answer contained by sight.
Oh, and as a side note, don't take the antibiotics if you already know it's not Tonsillitis... taking antibiotics that your body doesn't requirement could just make you more immune to antibiotics in the adjectives, not to mention that it can kill all the good germs in your system for no reason, too. Good luck and I hope I helped! Source(s): Personal experience and personal research

When the lymph nodes obtain swollen it means there is an some kind of infection inwardly the body. It might not be visible but it is still there. The best thing you can do is find the source of the problem. When it comes to infections, one of the best things you can do is to boost your immune system. Make sure you drink plenty of pure dampen. Avoid sodas and packaged foods. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Some supplements like Echinacea or Wheatgrass would help a great deal too. If you start to feel worried about your infection, you could always try another doctor.
