What's a lukewarm bath?

I own a fever and i know a lukewarm bath help

Answer:    just barely thaw out, but not cold at all.
BARELY WARM... Try a tepid hip bath.
I thought at Luke Warm water was at body temp.---98F. It feel neither hot or cold, but barely warm. Take a Tylenol and a cool compress to your forehead...
as for the dampen it means lightly reheat.
Lukewarm is defined as "moderately warm or tepid"; it's said to be measured anywhere between 85-105 degrees F. Basically, if you theory test the water on the inside of your arm it should be neither cold, nor hot. Lukewarm is the temperature that you go in swimming babies. So it's pretty much room temperature.

For fevers:
hold on to your head cool, and if your temperature hits 105 degree F...go to the hospital..
it's just thaw out water, but more on the warm train than the cold. its a bath with reheat water that is not hot only just warm.
Use your elbow as a guide. The water should perceive neither hot nor cold...but in-between. Yes, as the other replies state, a lukewarm bath is basically a warm bath... not too hot. not too cold! Frequent heat baths are better for you than a long drawn out hot bath. Long hot baths will dry out your skin, especially when fevered. Warm baths with some Epsom salt will help draw out your fever and soothe any ache you may have.

Don't forget to add bubbles... for men or women they are the cream of the hip bath!

Hope you feel better soon.
