When trying to get rid of a lice problem does it help to put the essential oils in with the laundry soap?
Answer: Both of my girls had lice for MONTHS. I'd get rid of it next to RID and it'd come right back from other kids at school.
Finally soon I got exasperated. I washed everything adjectives over again, vacuumed, and made them sleep with their hair soaked contained by virgin olive oil, covered in saran wrap.
Also, tea tree grease will repel lice but it won't kill the ones you have. Start w/the olive grease. works like a charm.
The lice went away and never come back. Lice breath through holes in their sides...the olive grease makes them stop breathing.
RID and other insecticides cause lice to develop imperviousness to the poison, and new generations come spinal column stronger. The poison doesn't kill all of the eggs, and up to date generations have imperviousness to the shampoo and it stops working.
Olive oil saved my wits..
You can always try putting in some eucalyptus grease in with your wash its a lice deterant, it will also help get rid of any other germs and stains within your laundry and smells fresh. I use it in nearly every wash I do!!
If you suspect lice on your children take home a blend using
25gm white bees wax, 50 ml castor oil,
melt together contained by a bain-marie untill creamy consaitancy, once cooled add about 25 drops of respectively Rosemary, Lavender and Geranium, rub into scalp and leave overnight..
It is the heat from the dryer that kill both lice and eggs. To remove lice from your hair, you can mix the EO (about 20 drops) into a cup of oil, such as olive grease or canola oil. Actually any cooking oil will work. This is much safer and, IMHO, more influential than commerical (chemical) lice treatments. It is the oil that coats the lice and makes them powerless to breath. It also slows them down so you can comb them out. However, nothing kills the eggs, not even commercial kit. With the oil treatment, you will need to repeat this every couple of days because you don't know when the eggs hatch. You will be lice free in about 6 days for good. I reckon just very hot dampen will do it in in the laundry. Things that can't be wash, put in a plastic bag for more or less 10 days. They can't live without a human host.
Tea Tree oil (Melalucca) is supposed to repel them. Put a drop on the hairbrush or comb to repoel them..
Use hot river and treat everything, carpet, people, cars, lead rest, pillows, brushes (boil) or buy new ones. If its kids, be careful near little ones. no but i used to have lice so here's some advice use a nit comb, lice shampoo and vinegar.
No.but bleach is unbelievably effective. no just wash and drying is all it takes because if they don't drown they will be fried!!!
