Where can I buy colloidal silver or other pure remedies for pink eye (conjunctivitis)?

I am just getting over a sinus infection and lucky me I woke up with pink eye today. Since it's a Sunday, I would like to find something to capture it treated today. I don't want to have to wait to see the doctor because I have classes and I don't want to miss them because of the pink eye. I've hear that the use of liquid colloidal silver works wonders for pink eye but I don't know where to find it other than the online stores. And I'm interested within any other remedies people may know about. I live near a wal-mart, GNC, kroger, meijer, walgreens, and cvs. We enjoy a Wild Oats - Whole Foods about 30 minutes away and I might drive there as a last resort.

Thanks!
Answers:    Many who construction colloidal Silver is in reality not true "colloidal" but rather a cheaper journal, they are sold under the names of silver protein, and or Ionic silver! It is difficult to distinguish what is true colloidal silver! One sure way is to hold it up to the wishy-washy and if it has a light golden tent it is most likely true colloidal and if it is clear, most credible it has particle silver traces and not pure colloidal silver at all and it is expensive! Peel an onion and your shred ducts will open and allow tears to flow which is natures way of cleaning your eyes which will keep hold of pink eye and sty's at bay! Gently dab your eyes with a heat damp clean wash cloth and you can find an advanced eyewash at Walgreen's that will help! Pink eye is an infection of the tear ducts and believe it or not people who are more prone to crying will hold less problems with getting pink eye,as I have previously stated because of the inherent flow of tears! My advise is forget about the colloidal silver and stick to the basics, eye swab, eye ointment, warm damp tea-bags and time! In severe cases anti biotics may own to be used to rid the infection! Best of healing to you! Lord Bless! Source(s): research yahoo/google

First off, don't get supplements at places close to walgreens. Also, GNC I've found to have awful synthetic products with lots of fillers. Whole Foods is your best bet.
I wouldn't bother with the colloidal silver even if they enjoy it on the shelf. It's like over priced and doesn't work. It's a perfectly safe remedy though, and the propaganda in the order of people turning blue is ridiculous and totally overblown (you'd have to OD on the stuff extensively). So if you wish to try it you should, but I guess Grapefruit Seed Extract is a better bet for something like pink eye. Get some vitamin C as well, if possible procure a product with Camu Camu in it. You can check out the websites at my page here for more links to ideas and anti infectives.
