Why is Vitamin B not between Vitamin A and C?
So I'm looking at the rear of my centrum vitamins container and I notice that in the supplement facts go:
Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K...
Just wondering why Vitamin B wasn't inserted between A and C.
Is it because there are several B's?
Answer: Because there are too several of them and there is only one A - C - D - E - K
.. .. .. ..
But B have
B - 1
B - 2
B - 6
B - 12
.. .. ..
Just to name the popular ones
.. . ...
One reason is to minimize confusion. The reality that there are several might have also contributed to it... I'm not sure nearly that part, though.
Most of the B Vitamins are seldom listed as their "B-number". B-1 is commonly tabled as Thiamin (or Benfotiamine, if it's the fat-soluble cousin), B-2 is commonly listed as Riboflavin, etc, etc... mainly B-6 and B-12 are in actual fact listed as B-6 and B-12 on a regular basis.
Too heaps people could easily take confused if they saw Vitamin A separate from the other vitamins and all those weird name listed in the middle of their multivitamin. ;-)
