Why should marijuana be legalized??
Answer: It shouldn't. I was a smoker for many years and stuffed up various chances to advance contained by life because I was stoned. I required to be a aircraft engineer but missed out because of missing an interview because I was trying to procure on. If you want to be something in life don't smoke, anything! SMOKING PREVENTS POTENTIAL. It's exceptionally, very, very easier said than done to give up. We don't want a society of stoned idiots.Nothing would get done. We would be going backwards not forwards. Drugs of any benign are harmful which ever way you look at them. Do you want a pilot of your plane to be a stoner or the doctor your seeing, No because these drugs alter your brains opening of thinking. You can't think quick if something go wrong. LSD, you have got to be being silly. Once you start that Professor you try and control it. Professor I suggest you get off the mind altering drugs your on and take with it. Drugs do nothing but inflict destruction and you are a fool to think otherwise. It wouldn't benefit government revenue because the amount they would enjoy to spend to fix the **** up that these stoned people have done would far outwiegh the money it brings within. I agree alcohol and tobacco cause as much damage but i.e. always on the agenda. I also agree with jtanda, rob up handgliding or surfing for a high.

Cancer patients can smoke it, how are they any different from those who do smoke it ?
Doctors other have access to it, what makes them any different from those who purchase it ?
Cigarettes are purely as or if not worse than weed and cigarettes has more toxins contained by it than weed.
Weed is nature's plant. You don't have to alter it's state.
Weed just happen to be in the same categorey as adjectives drugs(shame). It should have been legalized and tax as cigarettes and the government would have made millions if, billions in revenue from this.
Growers would have more job.
Alcohol is by far the worse drug out there that is legalized and here is 110 % chance of more fatalities with this substance than any other substance.(on a hourly basis).
Weed is safer than alcohol, simply put, it's safer than any drug out nearby.
There are so many reasons why this should be legalized.

isnt alcohol official! Marijuana was actually official at one point and they even made commercials for it. I believe this is when alcohol was illegal, but if you look subsidise Every Thing was legal, Ecstasy be given to cancer patients, and even the guy who discovered LSD was taking acid and they even did military experiments next to men on lsd. If you dont believe me watch the history channel! You wouldnet believe the things youll hear' For indistinguishable basic reason that adjectives mind expanding chemicals should be legal. Like LSD and mescaline and mushrooms. No one has the authority or right ot share you what you can or cannot put into your body. People will learn to control drug problems when society evolves in it's thinking. The channel to do it is not by making things illegal. It is by teaching ethnic group self control and responsible use should they chose to use them. The global positive consequences of permitting mankind free choice far out weigh any negative sequela from the increased availability of the substances. People should be free to do as they please in their own homes or contained by private. Even if there is a price for that freedom the price is worth it..
I agree with everything surfers say above. It shouldn't be made legal. But you shouldn't get a story for the rest of your life either.
Research is immediately proving that pot can seriously change the brain chemistry, and that long term use can do all sorts of mental problems.
Then you can talk just about the physical problems such as cancer, etc.
If you want a buzz take up hangliding or something like that..
The singular reason it was made risky is cos tha american government couldnt tax/control its use so they decided to overrun it off as evil in plant form. It isnt though, its great, more fun than drinking beside less harm its not physically addictive and is completely colloquial so the government can tax the hell out of it. haha
